Deafblind Communicator Guides

The Middlesex Association for the Blind has 14 staff who are trained and qualified as Deafblind Communicator Guides. Using the symbols in the deafblind manual, our guides are able to communicate with people who are deaf and blind, and spell out signs onto their palms using fingertips.

Our trained communicator guides are available to assist people who are deaf blind and guide them from their home to places for essential visits to their GP, hospital, dentist, etc.
